Michael's investment property

Michael is a South African based in Beijing, China and contacted us to provide advisory services to acquire an investment property in Cape Town. The services we provided included:

About the deal

We settled on an amazing property with beautiful mountain views. The seller was confident in our ability to manage the transaction, and the offer was accepted in 24 hours!

The home-loan was provided by a South African bank at 90 % loan to value (LTV); after negotiation with the bank, we settled on a very competitive interest rate. All the property transfer documents were signed from abroad, there was no requirement for the client to travel to South Africa. Currently, a tenant is renting the property, and Michael plans to continue developing his South African property portfolio.

Fun fact:
Michael's bank statements were in Chinese, the bank could not provide English statements, we had to arrange legal translation of the documents!
