FROM RENTING TO PROPERTY OWNERSHIP

A client approached Risi-Pro while considering renting a unit within a particular sectional title scheme in Cape Town.

During the advisory process, the longer-term opportunity of property ownership was considered instead. A suitable unit had recently become available in the same scheme and aligned well with what the client was looking for.

The client ultimately decided that purchasing the unit made more sense for the client’s longer-term property plans than continuing with the original intention to rent.

THE OUTCOME

The client successfully acquired a unit within the preferred Cape Town scheme.

The client originally planned to rent in the scheme, ended up buying a unit there, and now lives in England.
